Signing in to EPC Chess

Students sign in with their Lichess account; coaches and league staff can also use an email and password.

Students

  1. Make a free account at lichess.org if you don't have one.
  2. On EPC Chess, choose Log in, then Sign in with Lichess.
  3. Lichess asks whether EPC Chess may use your account. Allow it: this is how EPC Chess creates your league games.
  4. The first time, you land on the dashboard as a guest. Join your school's team with your coach's join code (see Joining your school's team).

EPC Chess never sees your Lichess password.

Coaches and league staff

Sign in with Sign in with Lichess, or with the email address and password of your EPC Chess account.

Signed out unexpectedly?

EPC Chess signs you out when its permission to use your Lichess account is about to run out. Sign in with Lichess again and it is renewed.
